- Starter or Growth?
- Starter is for 1 website, 1 team member and 3 years of data retention: best for solo founders getting started. Growth is for 30 websites, 30 team members and 5+ years of data retention: best for established businesses.
- How many monthly events do I need?
- An event is a pageview, a goal or an outbound link click. If you're just getting started, start with 10k. If you have a lot of traffic (1k+ visitors a day), go for 1M+.
- What happens if I get more events than my plan?
- No worries! We keep tracking every event, but you'll need to upgrade to a larger plan to see your dashboard. Usage resets every month, also on yearly plans.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes: 14 days of every feature, and you don't need a card. If the trial ends without a plan, your account moves to the Free plan.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes. When a trial or subscription ends, we keep counting the basics on up to 30 websites, for free: visitors, visits, pages, sources, campaigns, countries, devices, goal completions and total revenue, up to 10,000 events a month. Funnels, visitor journeys, filters, realtime, AI crawlers, revenue by source, alerts, team members and the reporting API need a paid plan. The visit-level data from before is condensed into daily totals 7 days after a trial ends (30 days after a subscription ends). Nothing is deleted while you use it: after 12 months with no visits and no sign-in, we email you, then delete the data 30 days later.
- What are AI bot requests?
- Visits from AI assistants, search engines and training crawlers to your pages. 100K a billing cycle are included, pooled across your websites; extra capacity is $9 a month per million. Over the allowance, only crawler recording pauses.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yes. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. After that, your account moves to the Free plan; nothing is deleted.
- Can I change plans later?
- Yes, anytime, from Billing in your dashboard. The change takes effect at once, and Paddle charges or credits the difference for the rest of the current period.
- Who handles payments?
- Paddle.com, our reseller and the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle processes your payment, calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT that applies, and sends your receipts.
- Can I get a refund?
- Yes. Within 14 days of any payment, you can get a full refund: email support@datamogger.com. See our Refund Policy.
